Online fraud is a growing problem for all of us, so we must remain vigilant and safeguard personal and financial information. Scams and the growth in sophisticated online attacks such as data breaches and malware pose a growing threat. At OMG Education, we take this problem seriously and have systems in place to help protect us and ensure that the data we hold is confidential and secure.

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the National Cyber Security Centre Cyber Essentials accreditation.

What is the Cyber Essentials certification?

Cyber Essentials helps organisations guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates their commitment to cyber security. It is a simple but effective, government-backed scheme that allows organisations of whatever size to protect themselves against a whole range of cyber-attacks.

Getting the basics right is vital because vulnerability to simple attacks can mark you as a target for more in-depth attention from cybercriminals and others.

Certification gives you peace of mind that your defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets that do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
