Part Time Marketing and Social Media Volunteer

OMG Education is a well-established and expanding creative industry training provider with a long track record of delivering positive outcomes for learners. We offer mentoring, traineeships, apprenticeships, and personal development workshops to build and enhance the skills of young people. Our mission is to improve the lives of young people through high quality training and creative industry experiences.
This role will be an important member of our team, supporting the growth of OMG and helping us to smash huge monthly or quarterly social goals. The successful candidate will be working part-time a couple of days a week or on a campaign-to-campaign basis bringing fresh perspective to the table.

Skills required
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation, and implementation schedules
- Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages
- Collect data and analyse interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
- Reports progress to senior management team
- Grow and expand company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
- Research and monitor activity of company competitors
- Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
- Must be highly engaged on platforms with a good eye on the entire media landscape with a view to growing your knowledge.
- Experience using tools such as Facebook Creator Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive, Mail Chimp and Hoot Suite
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills
- Hands-on experience in planning, developing, and executing campaigns
- Extremely organised, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Experience with always producing a high-quality work, paying attention to detail and removing the possibility of error. You will maintain all company quality standards, continually looking for areas of improvement
- Self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment
